This blog is not dead!

Unfortunately, the founder of this blog has neglected her duty to maintain it.

So, I have to step in... There have been some interesting posts here and I don't want them to be lost. So I just post sth in order to keep this blog alive.

Actually, the last post seems strangely topical after all the terrible news we've had from Sichuan recently. In the best of all worlds, we wouldn't need a disaster like that to show us how much goodness there is in many people and force the reality of a finite time on earth that is running out on us as we keep wasting our hours on the internet, complaining afterwards that we couldn't get anything done - pathetic...

Was that a long sentence? It's probably more German than English... So, I had better go back to study.
